Technical advisory is an ongoing engagement for founders, investors, and decision-makers who need a trusted, independent technical perspective without hiring a full-time CTO.

The goal is to support better, lower-risk technical decisions by evaluating questions, assumptions, and trade-offs as they arise.

What's included

• Async technical judgment on active decision questions
• Up to 6 hours per month of calls for technical feasibility, architecture evaluation, and risk and trade-off analysis
• Responses to async questions within 1 business day during business hours
• A primary async channel is agreed at onboarding
• Reasonable use expected.

Calls are scheduled by appointment via Google Meet or phone.

Scope

This service focuses on technical decision-making and risk reduction.

It does not include:

• hands-on development or implementation,
• delivery or roadmap ownership,
• team management or technical leadership responsibilities.

This service does not replace a CTO or delivery lead and remains independent of execution outcomes.

Independent evaluation at major technical commitment points

Technical discovery & risk audit is a short, focused engagement for founders, investors, and boards who need clarity on technical feasibility, risks, and constraints before—or at the moment—significant technical commitments are made.

The goal is to replace uncertainty with a clear, written evaluation that supports informed technical and business decisions.

What's included

• Structured interviews to understand the decision context and constraints 
  
• Evaluation of the product concept or existing system at a technical and architectural level​
  
• Assessment of technical feasibility, risk exposure, and constraints
  
• Identification of critical assumptions and likely failure modes
• Evaluation of architecture and technology choices, including build vs. buy trade-offs
• Clear articulation of viable options and their implications
  

Deliverables

• A concise written assessment, typically including:

  • Executive summary
  • Key findings and prioritized risks
  • Feasibility and constraints analysis
  • Viable technical paths with explicit trade-offs
  • Clarification of decision implications and remaining option space
    
• A walkthrough and Q&A session is included to align on findings and decision implications.

Scope

This is a bounded evaluation and assessment engagement.
It does not include:

• hands-on implementation or delivery work,
• execution planning or roadmap ownership,
• ongoing advisory or embedded support.

The outcome is clarity, not continued involvement.

If continued support is needed, it can be discussed separately once the assessment is complete.

• stakeholders are open to having assumptions and risks challenged.
